Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, including invoices, receipts, expenses, and payments.

▪ Inputting financial data into accounting systems and spreadsheets.

▪ Preparing and processing invoices, accounts payable vouchers, and accounts
receivable invoices.

▪ Handling payments, deposits, and other financial transactions.

▪ Reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts.

▪ Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements.

▪ Assisting with SARS VAT Returns as may be necessary
-
▪ Providing administrative support to the Office, including answering phone
calls, responding to emails, and filing documents.

▪ Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
-
▪ Answering inquiries from internal and external customers related to financial
and administrative matters.

▪ Any other duties that may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Minimum NQF Level 6 qualification in Business Administration in Accounting or related Qualification from a SAQA accredited College/University.

▪ Minimum 2 years’ Experience working in the Finance and Accounting field either in the Public or Private Sector.

▪ Strong Mathematical and analytical skills are essential.

▪ Computer Literacy with proficiency in accounting software (Particularly Sage
Accounting) and Microsoft Office Suite is typically required.

▪ Knowledge of Basic accounting principles and experience with accounts
payable and accounts receivable processes.

▪ Familiarity with financial regulations, i.e. Generally Accepted Accounting
Principles (GAAP)

▪ Demonstrated experience working with tender documents for water services
will be an added advantage.

▪ Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

▪ Basic Analytical skills and attention to detail

▪ Good communication and interpersonal skills

▪ Self-driven and ability to work under minimum supervision.

▪ A valid driving license with a minimum driving experience of One (1) year will
be an added advantage

Preference will be given to candidates residing within the Mpumalanga Province.
